Tempered glass

Glass for improved safety

Tempered glass has three to five times the bending strength of raw glass. Because it breaks into innumerable small, cube-like fragments, it provides a high level of safety minimizing its effects on the human body.

To manufacture tempered glass, flat glass is heated and then cooled rapidly.
